What are the thoughts on the new ideas by wbank for this meet. Mixing the racing with such things as the monster trucks is a great idea I think. Anyone know where the trucks will do there thing. Also the new eat/drink area should get a few in and sounds pretty good price too. I have told a number of first timers about this meet and they are keen to come and check out the variety. Spread the word as this will be a meet not too miss.

John, this is all news to me...was there a press release or something that I missed? I think off-track entertainment is one of the big things that contributes to the atmosphere of a race meet - the variety of other things you can do at a track besides the racing help make up the atmosphere. Thats why I believe that the Winters is so much fun. You have the F1-11 dump and burn, street performers down the pit area, nostalgia display, the extreme bungee jump, etc.
Tell us about the new eating area? And the monster trucks? Sounds like Willowbank are doing their bit to keep things fresh. Nice work guys, should be a fun meet in January. Now all we need is some more shade up there away from the QLD summer heat

WOW - sounds great! I like that fact that Willowbank always think outside the cirlce and their off track entertainment is 2nd to none !

My son loves Monster Trucks and I love Drag Racing so this could be the ultimate meeting for the Wilson clan

Re: Jan 4 and 5
Hi All, Jan 4 and 5 will be a Great Event with some incredible Drag Racing and some entertainment, Plus the New Bendigo Bank Adrenalin Club ( Check it out on the website ) However, I have to confirm to you that the Monster Trucks will NOT be at the event. In our negotiations for the Monster Trucks we requested that two trucks be available for our event, but unfortunately, we were notified this week by the operator that only one truck could be guaranteed. Thats not what we wanted for our customers so we have cancelled the Monster Trucks.

But I am sure 500 kmh Top Fuel Dragsters, 400 kmh Top Alcohol Dragsters and Funy Cars and 300 kmh Pro Stock Motorcycles along with some parachutists, kids entertainment and heaps of fireworks will get Willowbank Raceway Rockin !!!

Regards
